Let's get one thing straight I personally knew this couple before filming this wedding. ante is a long-term friend of mine and my brothers; I knew mostly everyone at this wedding and was one I was looking forward to for a while. So basically, I knew I had to mentally prepare. When you shoot a wedding where you know everybody, you got to be on your best game to talk a lot and film a lot all at the same time. So, we can say this wedding was a massive party for the couple and guests just as much as it was for me.
In all seriousness though, I love exciting weddings like this. Everything just fly's by, there's crazy stuff happening left and right, and you are just pointing your camera in every direction, capturing insane moments everywhere. Usually if my face hurts from smiling and laughing at all the footage when I get back, I know it was a fantastic wedding. Biased aside this wedding has everything from sweet moments to the most hilarious.
Starting the day, the guys all got clean cuts from a local barber before photos. The ladies got plenty of makeup and robe photos. We got great group shots of just about every variant. Even the groomsmen pulled out some fake mustaches to match Nates super 80s mustache. So, by noon everyone was just having so much fun. Nates best man officiated his first every wedding, the whole day he was so nervous but when it came time for him to officiate, he absolutely killed it. Him being such a naturally hilarious guy the jokes started off immediately and everyone was belly laughing 2 min in, but that made all the parts where he got emotional made the ceremony tear up. Overall, the ceremony was just perfect, and the rest of the night was just pure shenanigans, I even let Nate film a little and the footage came out hilarious and unique to his point of view. This is why I have no problem getting creative in this regard when I mean it's your wedding film, I mean it!
Watch below to a sweet, hilarious and wild wedding set in Kitsap County Washington, my hometown.
